Some immediate post-race perceptions…

1:15:31 Personal and Hamburg Record, 22. Place, first 12 km “alright, no group but I can do my race today”, about 5 km “though” and tackling room for improvement, great finish….an overwhelming team of volunteers making all this happen including whipping some big smiles on exhausted faces.

In short:

• I take the PR as well as the HOMEWORK. 
• I take the HOMEWORK. 
• I am glad about my first satisfying race on this continent!
