Since ten days I am in Mexico…a little update…..

Daylight hours are used for explorations around the Mexico City basin of course in running cloth…the surrounding volcanoes are ideal hilly long jog terrains, the farming land nice for all kinds of workouts and the dirt track in the village is similar to the legendary one it Iten (Kenya). Getting ready for 2016!

Nights are spend for explorations into the past – MexiDrill Chalco  operates in 24 hours/7 days a week and aims to recover drill cores covering the volcanic, environmental and climate history of the area over several hundred thousand years e.g. glacial/interglacial cycles. Yesterday night we reached another cornerstone – the sediment core from 400 m depth.

100 kilometers and meters more will follow….
